Employee of the Month: Ayyappan Rathakrishnan

The Sanaria employee of the month for August, 2020 is Ayyappan Rathakrishnan Ayyappan is a member of the Quality Control team, responsible bio-assays, environmental monitoring, stability studies, GMP material release, and much more.  Ayyappan was nominated for employee of the month for the tremendous support, extra work and extreme dedication recently. Ayyappan’s team in a coincidental ‘Perfect Storm’ situation were either on-Quarantine, sick or left due to family situations. This occurred during a very busy time on EM schedules, QC activities, Gown Qualifications and Liver assay requirements.

Under tremendously tight timelines and stretched working hours, with minimal staff available, Ayyappan managed to ensure all required conduct of critical activities and items were carried out satisfactorily.  We commend Ayyappan for navigating a difficult situation successfully. Through it all Ayyappan remain his always pleasant and ever polite self – a perfect gentleman.

Ayyappan attended Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Madras, Chennai, India and received his Ph.D. in Microbiology.  Ayyappan began at Sanaria in August, 2018.
