Employee of the Month: Don Ward III

Our employee of the month for May is Donald Ward III. Don is a Senior Research Associate in the Mosquito Production Department and has stepped up to cover work of former staff members to go above and beyond his expected responsibilities. Over the last few months Don has been contributing heavily to our Phase 3 compliant scale up of aseptic mosquito production including the process, autoclave load optimization, and validation, and has helped train new team members. In addition, he has been helping to lead the research on a mosquito bioreactor, a semi-automated method for the manufacture of aseptic mosquitoes. He has naturally assumed leadership and responsibility and has done an excellent job. Don received his Master’s Degree from Tulane University where he focused heavily on mosquito ecology.

Don’s efforts are hugely appreciated and we congratulate him on the much-deserved recognition of Sanaria’s employee of the month! Don joined Sanaria in June, 2018.
