Sanaria Hosts Students from the National Student Leadership Conference

On June 20th and 27th, Sanaria hosted over 100 students from the National Student Leadership Conference to educate them about Sanaria and it’s mission to eradicate malaria. These high school students, hailing from across the globe, are all united in their interest in STEM and biotech. The students were first introduced to the global impact of malaria and our clinical programs by Dr. Stephen Hoffman and Dr. Peter Billingsley, then were taken on a tour and to multiple stations where they learned about the Sanaria facility and manufacturing process. This included small workshops on the mosquito life stages, dissection, and liquid nitrogen. The students were inquisitive and just as excited as our team members!
