Dr. Martina Oneko wins best oral presentation award, of PfSPZ Vaccine, at the annual scientific conference of the Kenya Pediatric Association

Dr. Martina Oneko, of the Kenya Medical Research Institute, wins the best oral presentation award at the annual scientific conference of the Kenya Pediatric Association on 10 April 2019. Dr. Oneko, was the principal investigator of the KSPZV1 trials of Sanaria® PfSPZ Vaccine in Siaya, Kenya. Her presentation was entitled, “Safety and Efficacy of Radiation-Attenuated Plasmodium falciparum Sporozoite (PfSPZ) Vaccine Administered by Direct Venous Inoculation in a Phase 2 Trial in Infants in Western Kenya.” We are grateful to Dr. Oneko and her team for their excellent work, and congratulate them on this honor.
