Employee of the Month: Mei Chen

The Sanaria employee of the month is Ms. Mei Chen.  Mei is a member of the clinical team at Sanaria, responsible for managing trial master files and ensuring that documentation for Sanaria’s clinical studies is in compliance. When faced with a lack of an external monitor for one of our clinical trials, Mei, stepped up beyond her usual role and with a smile on her face gracefully led the study monitoring. She has dedicated an enormous amount of her time and energy to the routine monitoring of the study, and identified and helped to resolve issues within the database.  Using examples based on the issues she discovered, Mei developed a presentation format that very effectively communicated her findings to the study team during remote monitoring assessment calls. This work can be tedious and at times potentially overwhelming as well as being under the pressure of strict timelines, but in responding to Sanaria’s needs Mei has gone above and beyond, and has worked extremely hard (often working nights and weekends) while balancing her other responsibilities to do an exceptional job. Mei holds a MS and BS from the National Cheng Kung University of Taiwan in Microbiology and Immunology, and Medical Laboratory Science and Biotechnology.

Mei’s efforts are hugely appreciated and we congratulate her on the well-deserved recognition of Sanaria’s employee of the month! Mei joined Sanaria in March, 2017.
