Employee of the Month: Dan Rogers

The Sanaria employee of the month for April 2022 is Dan Rogers.  Dan is the Associate Director of Manufacturing Operations, responsible for overseeing and participating in a variety of manufacturing and facility related duties, such as contract manufacturer oversight, facility improvement projects, and purification and vialing of vaccine.  Dan was nominated for employee of the month for his outstanding performance in Manufacturing Operations at Sanaria. His leadership, management, and ability to balance and move forward the different moving parts of complex projects is commendable. Highlighted and detailed is the following recent project that is of critical importance to Sanaria: The project is the manufacture of Diluent for use in our clinical trials. Dan was given the responsibility to lead, manage, drive, and see to completion this project. This involved so many moving parts including managing and scheduling of our Staff and Manufacturing Operators, Quality personnel for process operations, completion of SOPs and Batch Records. Most importantly, Dan led the whole project with Emergent and managed the successful filling of > 9,000 vials of Diluent. He worked with our Formulation team on generation of bulk, then arranged, organized, and successfully completed the labeling at Sanaria, and subsequent full release of this lot.  Dan maneuvered the different issues that arose on such a project and impressed the company with his capabilities, his ability to differentiate between the different issues and the ability to prioritize and isolate the issues that mattered. He coordinates with our Regulatory Team and in works intimately with the Quality team.  He is always polite, very professional in his manner and a gentleman. He is such a pleasure to work with.

Dan attended Penn State with a focus in science. Dan began at Sanaria in June 2021.
