Employees of the Month: Drew Lisenbee and Jerusha Chivaripally

The Sanaria employees of the month for February 2023 are Drew Lisenbee and Jerusha Chivaripally.

Drew is a member of Quality Assurance team, responsible for change management, non-conformance investigations, implementation of corrective/preventive actions, and training.  He also performs GMP data reviews, manufacturing facility inspections and supplier audits. Drew is one of the strong pillars for Quality Department. The best thing about him is you can give him any number of assignments but he will prioritize and will complete it on time. As everyone knows, he is super helpful to anyone and everyone. Some of his recent achievements which quality department is proud of is reducing the deviation backlog and equally focusing on reducing the change request number significantly. The current quality compliance project he is working includes drafting training matrix for each and every group and revising our deviation/CAPA and change request SOPs to meet current regulatory guidelines. Additionally, he will be soon qualified as an auditor to conduct external audits. His patience and perseverance make him deserving for this recognition.

Jerusha is also a member of the Quality Assurance, responsible for enforcing GMP requirements and QA policies in regard to documentation.  She is also responsible for managing manufacturing documentation and review. Jerusha assumed the role of document control in August of 2022. Since then, she has been a nice addition to our small Quality group. She is very approachable and friendly person. She is also very dedicated to her work. The good thing about her is that she is always eager to learn even though this is her first Job in Biotechnology industry and she assume the role of document control, she is handling some of the key process like creating material specification, reviewing process intermediates and calibration/PM to achieve full quality compliance. Additionally, she is trying to streamline document control management by keeping accountability of all documents issued and reconciled back to quality. I would also like to state that she is helping regulatory by providing documents for LARC2 IND submissions. The list can go on but will like to conclude by stating that she is valuable to our group as well as Sanaria.

Drew joined Sanaria in September 2020 and Jerusha joined in August 2022.
